Silk cracked her neck and then her knuckles before she tore into a boxing bag in her training room. Sasha slept on the nearest mat with Aiko and Bandit. All the time before a charity event, Silk stressed out. She left Columbia and returned to finish planning the event, but with all of her new worries this was the worst amount of stress Silk had been under in a long time. Normally she would remove this by going into the rings underground and fighting for the sheer sport of it all rather than the money. Unfortunately, she didn't have the time to heal up from any injuries she sustained in the pits before the gala so she had to settle for a punching bag. Bare knuckles smashed into the sand filled bag repeatedly. It swing around the harder she hit. Her irritation only grew when she wasn't seeing blood. Stress caused an unusual blood lust to rise in her and with out the pit fighting it wasn't being sated. An aggravated scream left her as she spun around and slammed the heel of her foot into the bag. The chains that hung it from the ceiling snapped and the bag hit the ground with a heavy thud, sand spilled out onto the mat as Silk backed away from it. Sweat fell from her, how long had she been punching the bag? Hours. 5 to be exact. Her arms were sore, fists hurt, and she was seriously dehydrated. Through all of that though she had continued to punch and kick at this bag until it fell and once it did, the realization of what she'd deprived her body of hit. Light headed and exhausted, Silk dropped like a rock. Aiko, Bandit and Sasha had all heard her angry scream and watched the bag's chains snap under the pressure of the spanish woman's anger. Hell, they were woken up by it. Sasha got up and grabbed the water as quick as she could but Silk hit the floor and hit the floor hard before she could even get it to her. "Shit!"Sasha ran to Silk and pulled the woman's head into her lap. She smacked the woman's face lightly. "Silk, Silk, Silk! Wake up, c'mon!"There was a solid 15 minutes of meowing, barking and smacking before Silk's eyes opened. "My head hurts..." Silk said. Sasha released a soft sigh of relief as she eased the woman up and began pouring water down her throat before Silk could utter any more complaints. "We gotta get you ready. The gala is only a few hours away. Drink up, you'll feel better soon."It took a while, but eventually Silk was helped back up to her feet. They soaked her in an ice bath for a little white before sticking her in a hot shower. Bandit and Aiko did return to sleeping as they waited for their owner to get ready. Sasha and Silk went over lists as they got ready. People who were going were checked off, people who weren't were receiving letters of some sort. Silk was writing them so you could be sure they probably weren't nice. They went over the menu, made sure everything was being set up and that all the things she'd asked her ex to handle were indeed handled. Lucky for her, Tenchi kept on the ball for fear of another axe kick from her. "Well then, if everything is all set... I guess there is nothing else left to do but really, truly get ready..." Silk almost sounded relieved. She would be the first to admit that lately she'd been a little... off. Stress could do that though. It could change you into a completely different person. Though with Silk it just made her more anxious and wanting to fight more often than she normally did. Usually if she drank it could be managed but she couldn't be drunk for the gala so she'd been keeping sober for about a week now. That could have quite possibly made her more volatile. Sasha certainly thought that was the case. The gala was being held in Sanada Corp's grand hall. It was huge enough to entertain all her guests and then some. The hours ticked down to minutes and minutes to seconds. Finally it was time. Tenchi stood out of sight at the top of the stairs with Silk. She adjusted his tie and added a little more spike to his blond hair. He smiled at her as she went about making sure he looked like he owned a company instead of like the goofy man he was. "Sasha told me you passed out earlier.""Don't worry about it." "...Silk I know we aren't...""Tenchi, don't. Honestly... How long has it been for us? I can't do this here, now... ever. I will put you through a fucking wall you keep it up." He just continued to smile at her. He tucked an errant strand of her hair behind one of her ears. Sasha motioned from the bottom of the stairs for the two of them to come down. Most everyone had already arrived and were waiting for them. They descended the stairs together, her arm looped in his. Reaching the bottom of the stairs they easily moved on, to the center of the stage. Sasha would hand Silk a microphone, though the woman didn't need it. She smiled brightly at everyone who gathered. Tenchi continued to hold her arm. "On behalf of Sanada Corporation and... Hikari Industries..." Silk inclined her head to Kane Hikari who stood in front of the stage. Tenchi smiled and followed her example by doing the same. "I would like to welcome everyone to the charity event of the year. Many of you have come from far and near to help us provide shelter, food and schooling for the orphaned children of Japan. We thank you all." A small group of children stepped up onto stage to stand before Silk and Tenchi. The ex couple let their arms drift apart and they bowed with the children that stood before them. The group upon the stage would all speak in unison. "Dōmo arigatōgozaimashita." (Thank you very much.)The group stood back up and Silk would pick up one of the smaller children up. She held the child up by letting him rest on her hip. He beamed as he took the microphone and held it up for her. "All the items that are on display to be bid upon have been donated by both Sanada Corp and Hikari industries as a celebration of their merger." "Sanada Corp has chosen to donate an extra hundred grand for each hundred grand raised."Tenchi spoke up leaning towards the microphone which the small child promptly bonked into his nose. Both Silk and Tenchi laughed. The child grinned with mischief and Silk set him back down before kissing his cheek and taking back the microphone. "Though we mustn't forget our partners, Hikari industries. Mr. Hikari, would you like to say a few words?" Tenchi began to usher the children off the stage and off to the side to a table decked out in crayons and toys to entertain the children. Silk would remain on stage until the microphone was either taken from her or the offer was declined.

Striding into the grand hall, the arm of his second wife and true love, Luyu Kodiak, looped around his, an amicable smile was visible on Kane's face as he would greet many of the guests gathered in the grand hall, quite a few who were not only clients of Hikari Industries, but good friends of his as well. Just behind him, trailing after their father and stepmother somewhat reluctantly, were his two children, his older and only daughter, Kyoko, and his younger and only son, Kazuya, whom was carrying his daughter, Kaori, in one arm. With his other arm free, Kazuya would adjust the tie of the suit he wore, Kaori dressed up in a pretty white dress. And if you were wondering, yes, Kazuya was wearing the badass shades. Spending some time walking around and exploring with his older sister and Kaori, after a little bit, the three of them would head back into the grand hall and make their way through the crowd of guests gathered at the center stage to the front, where their father and stepmother were already at, waiting for the gala to begin. Kane bowing his head modestly to both Tenchi and Silk as she spoke, the guests would clap politely after the both of them and the small group of children on stage bowed to them, thanking them, before continuing on. As Tenchi spoke up, only to be bonked in the nose by the microphone the young boy Silk held in her arms had, the crowd would let out laughs from the sight before eventually dying down as Kane held his hand up while bowing his head. He would not get up on stage, but would instead take the microphone from Silk, while continuing to stay at the front of the stage. "Hikari Industries is greatly honored to be partnered with Sanada Corp., and we are most grateful to you all for gracing us with your presence tonight. Sanada Corp. has provided a most generous addition to their donations, though I am afraid ours can't quite compete with theirs. Hikari Industries has chosen as well to donate an extra ten thousand for every ten thousand dollars raised. We hope you will be most generous with your donations. Thank you very much, and have a wonderful evening tonight."Bowing lowly to the crowd, Kane would then straighten up after a bit and hand the microphone back to Silk, before clasping his hands behind his back, Luyu looping her arm around his once more.

She let Kane have the mic and was surprised he didn't come up on stage with his wife but she didn't mind it all that much. Made things much easier she supposed. She still smiled when he said he was donating, not as much as Tenchi was but it was still quite a lot. Silk clapped, which caused everyone else to follow suit and clap for Mr. Hikari as well. She would take the microphone from him and smile to everyone.
"Thank you all again, for coming."
She'd give a soft bow and make her exit off the stage to the children first who hugged at her legs. She drew a heart for one of the little girls to color in and then patted her on the head before going over to Mr. Hikari and his wife. Tenchi following behind her still grinning like a goof.
"Honestly, thank you so much for being here Mr. Hikari. It means so much to the orphans." "Silk, don't lie now. Those children have no idea who Hikari or Sanada corp is. You just see children and y-"
She settled an angry set of brown eyes on her ex and he quickly shut up. He smiled at Mr. Hikari and his wife.
"Ah yes, uh Thank you so much for coming."
Silk gave a firm nod and returned her attention to Kane and Luyu.
"I hope you both enjoy yourselves. I think I saw Kyoko and Kazuya, though I wasn't aware you had a third child."
Silk didn't know Kazuya had a daughter. Then again she wasn't much for gossip and things so even if it had been mentioned some where she probably wouldn't have read it. Tenchi knew. He gave a bit of a snicker and rubbed the back of his head for a moment.
"Ah, Silk-chan..." "Hmm?" "That is Kazuya's daughter. Kaori."
Silk blinked for a moment and blushed a little from not having known. Though in her defense, since she didn't read up on that stuff and hadn't had the time to do much other than deal with her gang and plan the charity event, who could blame her for not knowing. Tenchi continued to snicker to himself and patted her shoulder which once again earned him a slight 'I'll cut you' glare from Silk. He quickly pulled his hand away and laughed nervously.
"Ah, uhm... what's that Tomo-chan? Oh, I'll be right there! Sorry Mr. and Mrs. Hikari my uhm, secretary needs my assistance."
He'd give a quick bow before hurrying away to stand near his secretary who only seemed quite confused as to why his boss was now following him around instead of Silk. This left Silk standing there looking as her ex hurried away from her angry glare. If she had been a little cartoon character, no doubt someone would see a sweat bead appear on the back of her head. She laughed a little and returned her attention to Mr. and Mrs. Hikari.
"I'm sorry. Tenchi seems to have taken his special medication today, or at the very least... not drank enough coffee. Still, I hope you can forgive my mistake earlier. I honestly thought that she was yours."
She smiled. The children were all coloring and playing together quietly at the table. Sasha was standing with them, helping them. They kept talking to her in Japanese and poor Sasha, as hard as she tried, couldn't understand a darn word. She looked over to Silk who was speaking with the Hikari's and hurried over, making sure someone watched the children. She would peek around Silk all meek, despite the fact she was anything but. Still here in a foreign land she became meek. She didn't know what she was doing most of the time.
"Excuse me for interrupting but Silk... you forgot to give me some sort of pocket translator or something... I can't understand the children." "What are they asking for?" "Uh I think... Jūsu, Onigiri and Kēki." (Juice, Rice ball, Cake)
Silk smiled and chuckled.
"Juice, Rice balls and cake. Just flag down one of the waiters. They will help you. Remind them we'll be dancing soon, so don't fill up on too much snacks. We don't want them getting ill."
Sasha nodded and headed off before realizing she had no way of telling the children what Silk had said. So as Silk returned to Mr. Hikari, behind her Sasha could be seen grabbing Tenchi by the back of his collar and pulling him towards the childrens table. He struggled for just a moment before the young spanish girl smacked him in the head and forced him into a child size chair. He pouted up at her before she explained what she needed. Then he just laughed till he was hit in the head again. He seemed to pick some oddly strange women to associate himself with. Still, he didn't mind helping Sasha.

"Now now, there is no need to thank me. It was an honor to be part of the charity gala."
Kane would respond modestly, holding up his free hand reassuringly, a polite but amicable smile on his face as Silk sent Tenchi an angry glare to shut the man up. Luyu smiling kindly back at Tenchi, the two of them would look at each other, before laughing softly. It was hard to tell from such a distance, not to mention the crowd hid her slightly, but from her white hair and green eyes, Kaori was indeed not their third child, but their granddaughter. Giving Tenchi a small wave goodbye, they would turn back to Silk, Kane waving his hand reassuringly to her.
"It's quite alright Ms. Velasquez, it is an honest mistake, though her hair and eye color isn't exactly common among our family, haha. She is indeed my son's daughter, she inherited her white hair and green eyes from her deceased mother."
Both Kane and Luyu smiling politely and kindly respectively at Sasha, they would let her and Silk have some room to speak privately to each other, even though it was just Sasha asking Silk for help in translating what the children were saying to her. Once Silk had returned to him, from behind Kane came Kyoko, Kazuya, and Kaori, the latter still being carried in one arm by Kazuya. And yes, he still wore the badass shades. It may seem strange, wearing sunglasses indoors, but his gray pupil-less eyes would appear even stranger, because while it appeared like he was blind, he was in fact, not, and had 20/20 vision in both eyes.
"Ah, Ms. Velasquez, you've already met my son, Kazuya, but let me formally introduce them. This is my older daughter, Kyoko, my younger son Kazuya, and my granddaughter, Kaori."
"Hello, it's nice to meet you, Ms. Velasquez."
"Hi Ms. Velasquez..."
["Daddy... who is that?"]
["This is Silk Velasquez, Kaori. Say hi to her."]
"H... hi..."

Common hair color or not didn't matter to Silk. There were always ways someone could get a different hair color than their family. Still after everything with Sasha was settled and Kazuya, Kyoko and Kaori appeared, she righted her attention to them. She'd give a soft bow as the children were introduced. She giggled at the little one asking who she was. Silk herself had tried very hard for a child. Tenchi had been so busy with work, she had only wanted someone to care for, to void the loneliness of being married to a serious business man. Though perhaps serious isn't how she'd describe Tenchi, it was more how she would have described his father. His father was who Tenchi aspired to be like after all, but he was far too...clown like. Which in its own right could be a good quality, but still, for business not so much.
"Hello Kyoko, Kazuya, and Kaori."
She smiled at them and looked back at the table with the other children. She motioned for Sasha to come over and Sasha brought with her a little set of crayons and a coloring book. She handed them to Silk before tending to the other children back at the table. Silk would smile to Kaori.
"Watashi wa sāsha ga anata no tame ni totte, korera o settei shite ita. Anata ga yori ōku no yōsei ya ohimesama ga suki ka dō ka wa shirimasendeshitanode, watashi wa anata no ryōhō de yoyaku o eta." (I had Sasha set these aside for you. I didn't know if you liked fairies or princesses more, so I got you a book with both. )
She would hold them out to the small child. Oddly enough Silk looked at the girl and seeing the silver hair and green eyes made her heart melt. She'd dyed her hair that way and wore contacts for years so though it seemed odd to some, it meant a rather special amount to her.
"Anata ga shitte iru, watashi no kami ya me wa anata to onaji-iro ni suru tame ni shiyō suru. Sorekara watashi wa, shinkokuna bijinesu no josei ni naru tame ni motte ita. Chotto yunīkudearu koto no soto ni subete no tanoshimi o toru." (You know, my hair and eyes used to be the same color as yours. Then I had to become a serious business woman. Kinda takes all the fun out of being unique.)
She gave a soft smile and a giggle. It was the truth though. Since becoming the leader of a Colombian cartel and becoming more involved with Sanada corp, she honestly hadn't been able to dye her hair her silvery color or put in her contacts. First off it wasn't good for business and second her people respected her more if she looked like her natural spanish heritage.

Kaori immediately latching onto her daddy's blazer and burying her face in it, not out of fear, but shyness as Silk smiled and greeted her, her daddy, and her aunty back, Kazuya would smile slightly as he would rub her back with his free hand, to comfort and soothe her to a lull. As Sasha came over with a small set of crayons and a coloring book, Kaori would peek out slightly from behind her daddy's blazer, but would bury her face back in it as soon as she saw Silk smile at her again.
["Ahhh... I'm sorry Ms. Velasquez, she's really shy when she meets people for the first time or she doesn't know someone. To be honest, she actually loves female hero shows, but I'll let her decide. Kaori, do you want the fairy coloring book, or the princess coloring book?"]
Kaori peeking out from behind Kazuya's blazer, she'd look up at Silk shyly but with a sense of curiosity as well.
["The... princess coloring book daddy..."]
Kaori peeking out a bit more from behind her daddy's blazer, one hand would slowly let go of the blazer and reach out to take the coloring book, more curious than shy by this time. If her daddy wasn't wary of her, then maybe she was alright.
["R... really? Daddy said I looked exactly like my mommy did. He said I got my hair and eyes from her. Did you get yours from your mommy?"]
She was only three years old, obviously she wouldn't know scientific terminology.

Silk smiled seeing the little girl become so shy. It was just adorable! If she didn't have to stand here in this horribly constricting dress she would have scooped the child up, hugged the life out of her and squealed with joy. Though, on second thought... the poor little girl probably would have had a heart attack.
"Sore wa Kazuya mattaku mondai arimasen. Kanojo wa hazukashigariyadearu koto wa seijōdeari, jikkō suru sarude wa arimasen. Mishiranu hito o atsukau baai wa tokuni." (It's perfectly fine Kazuya. She's not a performing monkey, being shy is normal. Especially when dealing with strangers.)
When the little girl became more curious and was able to reach out and take the coloring book, Silk smiled even more. Tenchi looked up watching her from the table with the other children and Sasha. He couldn't look for too long cause he knew it was probably killing her inside. Silk had gotten very good over the years at covering up her pain. She was practically a master, but Tenchi had known her long enough to see it. Silk giggled at the little girl and nodded as she pointed at her own dark hair and dark eyes.
"Watashideshita. Watashi no mama wa, kono yō ni onaji-iro no kami to onaji-iro no me o motte ita." (I did. My mommy had the same color hair and same color eyes like this.)
She smiled at the little girl.
"Watashi no kami to watashi wa furi o shite ita anata no yōna me o tsukuru tame ni watashi wa... Watashi no me de monogoto o oku" (To make my hair and eyes like yours I had to pretend. I put things in my eyes...)
Silk mimed putting in her contacts.
"Soshite watashi wa sore anata no yō ni onaji-iro ni suru watashi no kami ni tokubetsuna iro o shiyō suru hitsuyō ga arimashita. Anata wa, shikashi, sore wa amari yoku mieru. Hijō ni hijō ni gōka." (And then I had to use a special color in my hair to make it the same color like yours. You look much better in it though. Very very gorgeous.)
She said after miming coloring her hair. She smiled brightly at the little girl and then at Kazuya.
"You are very lucky. She's absolutely adorable and very intelligent."

Kaori slowly emerging from her shy cocoon, peeking out even more as Silk pointed then mimed putting in contacts and coloring her hair, she would giggle happily, her other hand letting go of her daddy's blazer as she would reach out to Silk with her soft, little fingers, regarding Silk with a sense of wonderment.
["You pretty too! I like your hair and eyes this color, it suit you!"]
Kazuya smiling pleasantly back at Silk, Kaori was much like her daddy, in that she looked like a miniature version of Emily, just as Kazuya had looked like a miniature version of Kane when he was a kid. Feeling something pushing against his arm, Kazuya would glance down and see Kaori reaching out to Silk with both arms by this time, a look of utter wonderment on her face at her.
"Want Silk! Want!"
Kaori making grabby hand motions by this time, Kazuya would smile slightly before holding Kaori out to Silk to carry.
"I think she wants to be carried by you Ms. Velasquez."

Silk blinked as the child reached out for her and called for her with little grabby fingers. She laughed a little as Kazuya began to hand her over. Silk took the child carefully.
"Ā, sore ha~awwatashi ni atta? Mā sore wa shitte yoi kotoda. " (Oh it suits me huh? Well that's good to know.)
She giggled at the little girl. A bit of a smirk coming to her lips.
"Kaori-chan ga... Sukoshi Supeingo o benkyō shitai?" (Kaori-chan... want to learn a little spanish?)
Silk asked lightly poking the small child on the nose. She let the little girl get used to looking at her. Silk was much more tan than most of the people in Japan. Her hair wasn't fine and straight, instead it was thick and wavy. Though, tonight she'd managed to get it under control in a braid.
"Hola...Sore wa watashi no kotoba de kon'nichiwa o imi shimasu." (Hello... It means Hello in my language.)
Silk was sure to say the simple word slow enough so the child could hear it. She knew it was fairly hard to learn English for most people who didn't know it and that the letter L tended to to trip up some of those from Asia, even the letter R messed them up. Spanish was equally as hard as it wasn't a common language anywhere near Japan. She didn't expect the little girl to speak fluently but figured it would be a very adorable thing to hear her try to say. Silk just found the little girl absolutely adorable. Because of the curves in Silk's body, she almost seemed formed to carry a child on her hip. Tenchi would watch as Silk played with the little girl. Her fingers would gently poke the side and forehead of the 3 yr old as she made faces and said words that, in spanish meant something, but in Japanese just sounded absolutely silly and made no sense. He probably had no right now to feel this way, but seeing Silk even standing close to Kazuya with a child who greatly resembled Silk during her more improper years, was a bit jealousy inducing. He honestly felt jealous of Kazuya. Sasha on the other hand was watching Silk and how she always seemed to become so much more gentle around children. The woman's life story was never told to Sasha and she was certain there was much Silk kept to herself but it was hard to not see how much she cared for them. Some of the children in Columbia even began calling her "Madre de la rosa" which in spanish means mother of the rose.
Even though some of the women in the gang were older, Silk seemed to mother them too, taking care of them and forcing the men of their little gang to do the same. It brought to question how did the woman actually see herself? Did she honestly see herself as a brute who punched first and asked questions later, like she portrayed or did she see herself as a mother? It was hard to tell as Silk had much about her that Sasha didn't know and probably never would learn. Those discussions were ones Silk reserved for people who were much closer to her and had known her longer. Silk smiled at the little girl and took one of her tiny hands in her own larger tanned ones and kissed it softly.
"I'm sorry Kazuya, I'm afraid I'm a bit of a baby hog."
She chuckled realizing she had been standing here for a while with his daughter, just making faces and entertaining the small child.
"And she is just too cute to not play with all the time."
Silk smiled.

Kaori happily giggling as Silk lightly poked her nose, she would happily nod her head while reaching up and lightly poking Silk in the cheek with her little index finger, her shyness all but gone by now. One hand lightly curled around part of the top of Silk's dress, as Kaori listened to Silk speak, Kazuya stood slightly off to the side, his arms casually folded across his chest, Kyoko standing beside him, her arm looped around her little brother's.
"Ho... Ho... Hora?"
As English was Kaori's second language, Japanese being her first, it wasn't surprising she would pronounce the word with the letter R instead of the letter L, as both letters were interchangeable in the Japanese language. Both siblings smiling at Kaori's adorable first try at speaking Spanish, Kaori would giggle happily at Silk speaking Spanish at her and try to grab hold of Silk's hand as she gently poked the side and forehead of her head. Meanwhile, Kazuya was unaware that Tenchi was jealous of him, and would continue to happily watch his baby daughter with his sister, while their father and stepmother, whom had quietly stepped back, to let them do their own thing, were chatting with some of their clients and friends not too far away.
Kaori continuing to latch onto Silk as she took hold of one of her little hands in her own larger ones and kissed it softly, she would giggle happily seeing Silk making faces, and reaching up with her free hand, would gently touch Silk's face, as Kazuya would wave one hand casually.
"Ha ha, it's quite alright Ms. Velasquez. Kaori seems to be enjoying herself, and I don't think she minds continuing to be carried by you."
"Silk make funny faces! Silk play with me some more?"

When the little girl tried to speak spanish, Silk let out a very loud squeal and hugged the little girl.
"OH MY GOD THAT IS THE BEST THING EVER!!!"
The loud spanish woman proclaimed. Sasha couldn't help buy laugh at her. For someone who was so aggressive and angry all the time, she sure seemed fairly enthused by the small child. Silk giggled and smiled at Kaori as Kazuya said it was alright that Silk play so much with her. When the small voice asked for Silk to keep playing with her she smiled and kissed the little girl's cheek.
"Mmmm... It is a very very tempting offer little one. I'd rather spend all day playing with you than listening to stuffy old men talk politics."
She chuckled knowing that even though the child was smart, she probably had no idea what Silk was saying.
"I tell you what little Kaori... You can sit with me, we'll walk around. Say Hi to people. Thank them for coming and then we will play some more. That sound good to you?"
She asked the little girl still smiling. Silk would turn her eyes to Kazuya.
"Only if it is okay with your daddy though."

Older sister and little brother exchanging slight smiles with each other hearing and seeing Silk let out a squeal and hug Kaori, his baby daughter would wiggle a little in Silk's arms, not because she was feeling uncomfortable, but because the hug was a wee bit too tight. Continuing to cling to Silk's dress with one hand, Kaori would giggle happily as her cheek was kissed, though the part about stuffy old men and talking politics kind of did fly over Kaori's head, and she would tilt her head slightly to one side in puzzlement, like a puppy dog.
"Okay! Daddy okay with it? Daddy and Aunty come too?"
Having been talking to Kyoko in rapid fire Japanese off to the side, only when he heard Kaori call out to him, was his attention caught, and turning to Kaori, would blink owlishly at his baby daughter and Silk, before nodding his head.
"That's okay with me, but are you sure you want us to come along Kaori?"
"Want Daddy and Aunty to come too!"
And to reinforce her point, she would make grabby hand motions at her daddy, who would chuckle softly and if Silk allowed him to, would take Kaori back and carry her in his arms, as she would immediately latch onto his blazer, while Kyoko would rub her back with one hand, to comfort and soothe her niece back to a lull.

Despite how much of a baby hog Silk indeed was, she knew this child wasn't hers and so when Kazuya's attention returned to them and his daughter reached out for him, Silk easily let the little girl slip from her arms and back into her father's. Seeing Silk begin to leave, Tenchi stuck his secretary beside Sasha and told Tomo to assist the spanish woman in speaking to the children. Then he was off, after Silk who had to make her rounds and speak with people. She'd learned long ago that as much as she would prefer to spend time with only one person at these things, she had to mingle to seem personable. It was a pain in her butt that only seemed to worsen when Tenchi decided to get clingy, and cling he did.
"Silk-chan!" "Oh lord."
Tenchi glanced at Kazuya, Kyoko and Kaori then smiled at them. His attention then went right back to Silk.
"Tengo entendido que su apego a la niña pero, ¿su padre también necesito siguen a todos lados?" (I understand your attachment to the little girl but does her father also need to follow you around?)
Tenchi said in rather funny sounding spanish. He'd tried to learn it for Silk back when they were together. Still, his asian accent did get in the way. A lot of his Ls sounded like Rs and his Rs just sounded funny. Silk looked at him for a moment with a highly unamused look.
"Didn't you lecture me about speaking anything but Japanese and English around our guests? Isn't that like the first thing I had to learn?"
She grumbled crossing her arms under her chest. Tenchi looked back at the little group of Hikari's with another smile and then back at Silk.
"All I'm asking is, is it really needed?"
Silk glanced at the little girl. The hard part about children was the fact that she did have to limit her anger and curse words. Her eye twitched when she looked back at Tenchi. Seeing the twitch Tenchi certainly made a face that resembled this : ^_^;
"Haha, uh... never mind. I'll go get you some... punch or something... stop looking at me like that."
He hurried away and Silk released a soft sigh of annoyance and grumbled under her breath, something about him being annoying. She'd be interrupted though by a group of elderly women calling her to them. She would look up and that annoyed look vanished to be replaced by a smile. She would motion for Kazuya, Kyoko and Kaori to follow her and walked towards the older women. Once there the women greeted her happily.
"Silk, this is lovely like always. Did you plan it?" "Thank you. Tenchi did have a hand in helping." "So you planned it then?"
The women laughed and nudged her. Silk laughed a little and smiled.
"Mrs.Akiyama, I'm sure you know of Kazuya, Kyoko and Kaori Hikari. Kaori is currently my best friend."
She smiled at the little girl and giggled. The woman took out a pair of glasses grumbling about how she should have worn them before so she could see everything properly. She put them on and looked at the three who had followed Silk over.
"Oh yes! How are you?"
Silk, upon seeing a man with a tray of cookies walk by, reached out and snatched one before handing it over to Kaori with a small wink.

The Hikari siblings smiling back at Tenchi as he looked over at them after coming over to and clinging to Silk, as Tenchi looked over at them once more after his conversation with Silk, they would smile back again while continuing to stand off to the side, Kaori comfortably nestled in her daddy's arms. As they saw Silk glance over at Kaori, followed by Tenchi hurrying away, the both of them would return to talking to each other and Kaori in Japanese. Hearing a group of elderly women call out to Silk and seeing her motion for them to follow, they would stop once more off to the side, Kazuya pointing out various structural sights to Kaori, while Kyoko would inject every so often with some historical facts.
The two of them hearing their names mentioned, they would automatically bow their heads to the group of elderly women, having already recognized the woman Silk was talking to even before her name was said, Mrs. Shizue Akiyama, wife to the chairman of a large electronics firm.
["We are very well Akiyama-san, and yourself? How is your husband? I do hope he is in good health."]
As Kyoko took over the talking and chatted animatedly with Mrs. Akiyama, as well as with the other elderly women in the group, Kazuya would smile slightly seeing his older sister talk their ears off. Though he knew his older sister was still just as shy as she was in high school, she found it easier to speak to older and elderly women. Men in general however, was a whole different story. Kaori happily taking the cookie Silk grabbed and handed to her, she would happily munch at it like a little chipmunk, Kazuya watching and smiling slightly at his baby daughter.
"Now Kaori, make sure to save some room for dinner, alright?"
"Okay daddy!"

Silk was saved by Kyoko and she released a soft sigh of relief as she turned her attention back to Kazuya and Kaori. She snickered as she watched the little girl nibble at the cookie.
"Oh it is just one little cookie Kazzy, not like I gave the girl a whole cake."
She smirked and crossed her arms.
"Besides, I made sure to get the kids some yummy foods. I made sure our cooks made them some little Obento's with panda shaped onigiri, a bunch of healthy veggies and things cut up into some pretty cool shapes... uhm... I think I even got those little squid shaped hot dogs, a bunch of dumplings and some other good stuff."
She giggled a bit at herself.
"Honestly, I'm not the biggest fan of sushi and some of the more... adult oriented dishes. So I believe the cooks made me a child's obento too, just to humor me."
By adult, Silk meant anything with fish in it, which was a lot of food. Ironically, she didn't hate Miso soup. Tenchi never told her what was in it though so perhaps it was best she didn't know.
"Kaori, one day I should make you some spanish food. Like... a Churro. Oh my god those are so good. You'd love them. They are fried dough covered in Cinnamon and sugar. Very sweet. I'd make some for your daddy too, so he doesn't feel left out."
She chuckled and smiled at Kazuya. All things considered, Kazuya was fairly cute. Though it would be terrible for her to start hitting on him at a charity gala, with her ex secretly watching some where near by and his daughter clinging to him. The thought of her ex seemed to bring the blond man back as he handed Silk a cup of punch or something and stood there awkwardly. Silk stared at him for a little while as if wondering why he was staying there. He rocked on his heels and gave her this dopey grin before realizing that the confused look changed to annoyed and away he went again, this time under the excuse of having to mingle.
