Theme Song: Violet SkyA lone figure could be seen sitting at table meant for two people at the front of a local cafe, as Kazuya took a sip of his hot tea, placing the cup back down on the table. He had come to Long Beach, California not for a vacation, nor for a business trip on behalf of his father, but for a personal reason. He had to go visit the high school he had formerly attended... Public High School #259. He had to go back there one last time, not only for himself... but for Kaori too. He had to bring her to the school where her mother was once the School Captain and a Pillar alongside her father. A warm evening breeze gently blowing through the open window Kazuya was seated next to, sending his short hair back, Kaori was back at the hotel room, being watched over and protected by one his father's numerous top assassins and the youngest member of The Shadow Triad, Masaki Sakurai. Many local artists or the artistic types came to this particular cafe, which made it a good place for Kazuya to sit and relax while trying to maintain a low profile, and since the patrons of this cafe were considered eccentric by others, Kazuya wearing a dark blue tank top and jeans was pretty low on the totem pole of eccentricity. The music the cafe played matched the mood that seemed to flow through the entire cafe, amplifying the already relaxed feel in the cafe even more, as Kazuya reveled and took in the melody of the music.

Ah... Long Beach.. How Long has it been? I didn't think I'd be back. I doubt anyone is still here.. The street's always seemed to be so busy down town, even so late in the afternoon. The sun was setting, leaving the sky a wash of orange, red, and pink. The water along the pier sparkled with the sinking light, the people that strolled appeared as nothing but silhouettes against the late sky. It was a relaxing sight to be seen, as she sauntered her way down the street.
Holding a pile of note books, papers, magazines, and books close to her chest, she'd reach out and open the door to a cafe. Sky blue eyes scanned the room for an empty table, spotting one beside a lone man in a tank top. Treading carefully towards the free table, she'd walk behind the man and smile. There was a nostalgic feel to this situation, one that reminded her of a time in the north. Setting down her mountain of work on the table top, the woman would sit down.
There was something about him that she couldn't shake. Maybe it was his aura, or his face. Addie couldn't put her finger on what it was. Blue eyes wandered in a fit of curiosity, constantly looking to the strange young man. Hmmmmm. Shaking her head, the brunette set to work organizing the things that cluttered her table. Reaching up, she'd pull a pen from her bun and start scratching at the papers. Scowling at the words, she'd scratch things out, rewrite them, and cross out other things. Her expressions changing from content, to angry, happy, and back to frustrated.
Sighing, Addie started chewing on her pen, looking around at the cafe. Once again returning to the fellow beside her. Hey... Don't I know you? “Okay! You! You there! Psstt..” Addie called in a low whisper. Making sure to be loud enough for the man to head. “Can I borrow you for a moment to speak about our lord and Maxwell?”[[------ thing's don't get said... I just couldn't help but add it. Ha ha ha]]

Kazuya barely even looking up as a familiar looking brunette walked past him and sat down at the table beside his, he would continued to sip his tea, placing the cup back down on the table after. The patrons continuing to do their own thing, the guy at the cashier, after bringing another table their order, he came over to Kazuya's table and placed a glass of iced tea down, as Kazuya looked at the glass in mild confusion.
"One cup of iced tea, courtesy of the young lady seated over at the back."
The guy explained, as he jerked his thumb behind him. Kazuya leaning over and looking past the guy, he saw an extremely pretty girl, currently reading a book, seated at the back table the guy had pointed out.
"... Oh. Thanks."
The guy nodding before heading back to the cash register, just as he leaned back in his chair, he heard someone call out to him, albeit in a low whisper, as Kazuya peered around, and saw it was the girl seated at the table behind his. Just as he looked familiar to the girl, she looked just as familiar to him as well, but he couldn't pinpoint where right now.
"Sure...? How may I help you?"
