Make a thread in The Item Shop to buy materials that your item will use, you can either save the link to the thread after the transaction is done, or continue to make your item in the same thread. The amount of material used can influence the effect on stats for an item. If a staff member feels you need to buy more of a certain material for an item, or that you need to buy a certain item period for your item, it usually means you do. For instance if you want to have your item shock someone, you're obviously going to need wire metal.
After making a thread or a post saying that you wish to use materials to make an item, a staff member will contact you. For $1000, at the initial purchase of materials, a priority cost can be paid, meaning staff will get to your item sooner. If it's been awhile, and you're incredibly impatient, go ahead and poke a staff member. Staff will work hand in hand with you to make this item. One staff member, that is to say. You will discuss what you want to make that item, what power you want to give it, and while the staff has final say on how powerful the item is, you have the say on what its power is. Once you decide a power, and the transaction is completed, you cannot change the power. A staff member will post the item in that thread, and they will complete the final transaction.
Items on this board with a multiplier effect will be accepted. Talk with a staff member if you are questioning an item's eligibility.
*Powers will be ultimately be up to staff to decide if it is fair towards other members.
You can fuse any two basic items together, and these essentially count as an upgrade. In fusing, the stats from the two items combine together, and the two items combine into whatever else you want to make! There are some rules, however.
1) Fused items can have a maximum of two powers.
2) Weapons fuse with weapons, clothing fuses with clothing, etc. No exceptions.
3) Fusing two items with two different powers will result in a higher cost, depending on the powers. This may go anywhere from $500 to $1000+ extra in your purchase.
