"Do you know how much it would cost to bring my truck over here? They would take my baby apart."
She frowned at the thought.
"Like hell I'd let them do that. I'm actually surprised you got Lady through unscathed."
Yes it had been years but for Silk, who didn't have many friends, it felt like yesterday. Though they both looked more mature now she supposed.
"Besides, it's cause of you that I ended up not being home now anyway."
She laughed as she pulled her hair back into a ponytail.
"I told my ride to head on home thinkin' I was going to jack some idiot tourists' bike. Turns out it was your bike. So... I blame you."
She smirked at him.
"C'mon... we wanna head out there before it gets too dark. You wont be able to see all that well if we leave after sundown."

Marcus simply folded his hands behind his head and smirked. Paranoia and VERY hard lessons learned was why Lady was safe and sound right now. That and Marcus was smart enough to know that when a small child walks up to you and offers to look after your motorcycle for a small fee, you pay the child. Marcus knew the scam and knew damn well he was essentially bribing the kid not to let him and his pack of hidden friends, who no doubt belonged to some minor group or another, take Lady apart while his back was turned. As a rule he also never took his eyes off his prized chopper without at least giving her a damn good hiding spot.
Lady carried in her Saddlebags EVERYTHING that Marcus owned after leaving New York City. She was his home away from home as well as a VERY efficient method of traveling. It stands to reason he would have more than a sentimental cause to keep her safe.
"Ok, You're going to have to carefully explain this whole 'My Fault' business of yours." Marcus declared with a smirk and a raised eyebrow as he gathered his things and prepared to leave with Silk. If he was surprised at her paying the bill (Which he wasn't. Or at least it didn't bother him none.) he didn't show it and as much as he wanted to explore the little seaside town, the woman had a point. It was best not to travel when it was too Dark to see.
"And don't you worry about Lady. I did some revamping during my travels to make her alot more off road friendly. She'll be able to keep up."
